Set up Master CSS in Vite

Guide to setting up Master CSS in your Vite project.

If you don't have a Vite project, create one first.

Terminal

npm create vite@latest my-appcd my-app

Run the installer with --mode runtime from the project root. The browser runtime generates rules for class names that appear after the build.

Terminal

npm create @master/css@rc -- --mode runtime --yes

Run the command to start the Vite dev server.

npm run dev

pnpm run dev

bun run dev

yarn run dev

Now style your first element using Master CSS syntax.
